AirAsia Expands City Transfer to Lampang, Phrae Flight and shuttle service combo available from 1 September 2023

In its pursuit to add further convenience to its guests and travelers, AirAsia Thailand (FD) will be offering City Transfer service via shuttle rides to the city centers of Lampang and Phrae from 1 September 2023.

AirAsia guests to Lampang and Phrae can now book the city transfer service together with their flight booking via the airasia Superapp.

Ms. Tansita Akrarittipirom, Head of Commercial AirAsia Thailand, said, “At AirAsia, we always look and explore ways to make the journey as seamless as possible for our guests. The City Transfer service will be a very convenient option for passengers continuing to smaller cities like Lampang and Phrae, which have high tourism potential and are looking forward to welcoming more visitors.

“AirAsia is very pleased to be expanding its City Transfer service which is currently available in cities of Mukdaharn, Surin, Pai and Chiang Kan to include the two new additions of Lampang and Phrae, enabling travelers to continue on from their flights with complete convenience.”

Details of the routes are as follows:

Route 1 Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Lampang: Transfer by shuttle bus from Chiang Mai Airport to Lampang Bus Terminal and return from Lampang Bus Terminal by shuttle bus to Chiang Mai Airport

Route 2 Bangkok-Nan-Phrae: Transfer by shuttle bus from Nan Airport to Phrae Bus Terminal and return from Phrae Bus Terminal by shuttle bus to Nan Airport

“We hope the expansion of this City Transfer service to more minor cities will help spur economic growth through more tourist arrivals in the areas,” Ms. Tansita said.

AirAsia Thailand (FD) City Transfer now serves the six destinations of Pai, Chiang Kan, Mukdaharn, Surin and new additions Lampang and Phrae.
