Langham Hospitality Group officially opened Cordis, Xuzhou, on August 31, 2023, marking their first collaboration with China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings. Located in the northwest of Jiangsu Province, Xuzhou is the largest city of Jiangsu and is designated as a national famous historical and cultural city. The sixth Cordis in Greater China and the seventh opening for the Brand internationally, is nestled in the China Merchants Xuzhou Centre. It joins properties located in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Auckland. Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of China, the design encompasses concepts such as “Dawning East”, “Ink Triumphs Colour”, “Charm of Ingenuity”, “Serene Contemplation” and “Tranquil Simplicity”, which set the tone for the heartfelt service of the hotel.
