Marasca Khao Yai, the first property for Marasca Hotels & Resorts, Narai Hotel Group’s luxury hospitality arm, has officially opened its doors. The casual luxury escape offers a charming take on Khao Yai getaways through experiential stays and scenic dining affairs that inspire travelers to find the perfect blend of rest and play, with an inviting design approach to embrace nature and celebrate the great outdoors.
Situated in the scenic Khao Yai mountain range and with the National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at its doorstep, the exclusive 18-key villas and glamping tents are styled as a luxury countryside retreat. An enchanting fusion of warm wooden elements and flourishing tropical greenery evokes a sense of home across space. Inspired by the natural environment, the hotel’s architecture and landscape has been designed with Khao Yai’s terrain in mind, resulting in a building that encompasses the surrounding greenery, and which preserves many large trees.

Within the accommodations, which each feature a unique design bringing out the distinct character of casual luxury retreats, comfortable service touches and thoughtful amenities transform rooms into homes-away-from-homes. Home Haven Pool Villa is a sprawling 300 sqm three-bedroom villa with indoor, outdoor living spaces and private plunge pools, perfect for gatherings with families and friends . Furry friends are not forgotten – pet-friendly Home Haven Villas is equipped for the comfort of two-legged and four-legged guests alike. Glamper Tents and the larger Glamper Suites elevate glamping into an art form; the living room and accompanying private hot tub offer ample space to unwind, set against breathtaking views of the open sky.
Meanwhile, “Cherry” & “Woody” Glamper Vans present an adventurous, once-in-a-lifetime sleepover experience in a Volkswagen van refitted with luxury linen beddings and complemented by a private outdoor deck that comes equipped with a barbecue pit and telescope for night-time stargazing. Each stay is elevated by the signature experience Marasca by You, an enhanced amenities programme that lets guests personalise a selection of products from yoga mat, bicycle, scooter to board games and books to amplify the feeling of home and enrich wellbeing.
Venturing into the hotel’s public spaces, Marasca’s penchant for rekindling curiosity and delightful “cherry-on-top” moments shine through. Styled after a treehouse nestled in the lush expanse of green in Khao Yai, Tree Top: tea house and farmer’s café is the gathering hub of the intimate hotel serving up farm-to-plate, all-day scrumptious and good-for-you dining, fresh-baked treats and an extensive selection of teas. On the second floor of Tree Top, urban guests can enjoy a rare view of the unpolluted, starlit night sky from the aptly named Stardeck together with an evening menu of cosmic cocktails, tea mocktails and light bites whilst a communal firepit crackles merrily. Connected seamlessly to Tree Top is The Meadow; true to its name, the gentle curves are dotted with local flowers all year-round and create a calming space for guests to reset their pace of life. Not forgetting little ones, Playscape is inspired by a natural approach to play, where sensory play blends with the bucolic landscape for enriching afternoons of frolicking.
Marasca’s lifestyle programming stays true to its DNA and rewards the curious. Every day, sunset brings the hotel’s Cherry Cart Golden Hour, where complimentary ice cream is a sweet accompaniment to the gold-tinted views. Guests can participate in experiences including farm-to-table cooking classes at Homegrown to learn more about the source of food as well as. communal affairs like a weekend outdoor Farmer’s Barbecue featuring local producers, artists and musicians.
